New Delhi: The Trichy airport is preparing for an emergency landing as an Air India flight en route to Sharjah has reported a hydraulic failure shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft is currently circling in the airspace to reduce fuel levels before landing at Trichy Airport. To ensure safety and prevent any major incidents, over 20 ambulances and fire tenders are on standby, news agency ANI quoted Airport Director Gopalakrishnan as saying.
