Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad witnessed a noticeable drop in minimum temperature Wednesday, bringing cooler mornings to the city with the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting similar weather conditions for the next few days.
The weatherman predicted a 2-3°C fall in minimum temperatures across Gujarat in the coming days. On Wednesday, the city recorded its minimum temperature at 13 degrees Celsius and the maximum is predicted to be at 24 degrees Celsius.
Ahmedabad weather forecast today
On Monday, Ahmedabad recorded a maximum temperature of 27.7°C, slightly above normal by 0.1°C, while the minimum temperature stood at 13.5°C, 1.2°C higher than the seasonal average. The day remained dry with clear skies, and humidity levels dropped from 70% in the morning to 30% by evening.
Dry weather is expected to continue across Gujarat, including Diu, Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Naliya, often the coldest location in the state, recorded a minimum temperature of 6.4°C, while Daman experienced milder conditions with a low of 16.8°C.
Addressing media reports about potential rainfall, Dr Ashok Das, Scientist and Head of IMD Ahmedabad, told Mirror, “Some reports suggest rain in Gujarat in the coming days. However, IMD Ahmedabad has already forecast dry conditions with no rain expected over the next seven days.”
