New Delhi: Acer has introduced the Nitro V 16 gaming laptop in India, with the Nitro ‘N’ logo now prominently displayed in the centre of the lid as against the top edge in previous models. The laptop is aimed at gamers and content creators, and are powered by the latest Intel processors. The 16 inch laptop features a bright QUXGA IPS display, that provides better viewing angles for multimedia consumption. The display has a 165 Hz refresh rate which is ideally suited for intense, fast-paced gaming experiences. The display also packs in tech to minimize the glare.
In terms of the build and design, the 16-inch form factor allows for a full numeric keypad, which is great for RPG gaming and programming in additional macros. There is also a multi-gesture touchpad to boost productivity. The laptop weighs 2.5 kg, which is on the lighter side for such large screen gaming laptops that pack in discrete graphics cards. There is a dedicated MSFT Pulton Security Processor for security, along with a Kensington lock. The Acer Nitro V 16 ships with Windows 11 Home edition out of the box. Acer is also providing additional software to ease group calls, with the AI powered Purified Voice Technology using an array of three microphones.

There are two variants of the Acer Nitro V 16, both featuring the latest 14th gen Intel Processors. One variant is powered by the i5 14450HX processor while the other packs in an i7 14650HX processor. Both the variants are equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card with 6Gb of dedicated DDR6 VRAM. The Acer Nitro V 16 with the i5 is priced at Rs 99,999, while the variant with the i7 can be picked up for 1,09,999. The devices are available on Amazon and Flipkart, as well as Acer stores and offline retail channels.
