Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi congratulate Shokeen
Raghuvinder Shokeen’s inclusion in the Delhi cabinet comes after the departure of prominent Jat leader and former Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot from Aam Aadmi Party. Shokeen, who has represented Nangloi Jat twice as an MLA and previously served as a councilor, was appointed as a minister to strengthen the party’s appeal among the Jat community and fill the void left by Gehlot’s exit.

Atishi announces Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana
Delhi CM Atishi on Thursday launched Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to women in Delhi. Under this program, women will receive Rs 1,000 per month as financial support. Atishi shared that the government is finalizing the registration process, and the scheme is expected to roll out within 10 to 15 days.
The initiative follows a promise made by Arvind Kejriwal, who had announced the scheme earlier, stating that if AAP retains power in the upcoming assembly elections, the monthly amount would be increased to Rs 2,100.
