New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly attacked during a foot march in Delhi’s Vikas Puri, according to AAP. The incident reportedly involved shoving and pushing, adding to the tensions at the gathering.
AAP has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating the attack, claiming that police officers stood by without intervening as BJP “goons” engaged in the altercation. The party has condemned the incident, blaming BJP for lax security measures. This clash is expected to further intensify the political climate in Delhi, with party leaders and supporters now calling for justice and improved safety.
Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj warned the BJP that they will responsible ‘if anything happens to Kejriwal. ‘
“When ED, CBI, and jail tactics didn’t work, now the BJP is resorting to attacks on Arvind Ji. If anything happens to Kejriwal Ji, the BJP will be directly responsible.”
