New Delhi: Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani has arrived in India with a high-level delegation to meet PM Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu. In a rare gesture, the Qatari Amir was received by PM Modi at the airport on Monday evening.
Al-Thani will meet PM Modi and President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday. The Qatari Amir is on a two-day visit to India. Al-Thani is visiting the country following an invitation by the PM Modi.

This is Qatari Amir’ second state visit to India. Al Thani earlier visited India in 2015, the MEA earlier said.
