New Delhi: At least five people lost their lives, and one sustained injuries when their car plunged into a nallah in Sirohi, Rajasthan, on Thursday morning. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle following a tyre burst, causing the car to cross the median on the national highway and fall into the nallah.
The car had six occupants at the time of the accident. The lone survivor, a woman, has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was travelling from Gujarat to Jodhpur. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident.
