Holidays declared for schools

The district administration has declared holiday on October 16 as a precautionary measure for all the primary and secondary schools including anganwadi centres. As the government schools have been closed due to Dussehra holidays till October 21, the order applies only to the private schools. Also the heads of colleges have been instructed to take necessary precautions after evaluating the conditions of their facilities. Due to waterlogging, tree falling and traffic issues, many private companies are providing work from home to their employees.
