Dev Raturi’s name may be unfamiliar to many Indians, but his journey from humble origins to becoming a successful businessman and veteran actor in China is nothing short of extraordinary. Born in 1976 in the small village of Kemariya-Saur, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India, Dev faced tough struggles early in life. After completing his early education in Rainka Chamiala (Lata), Dev moved to New Delhi for work after completing class 10. Within just five years, he attained positions of a general manager, area manager, and CEO, earning considerable success and recognition.
After tying the knot with Anjali from Rishikesh, Dev’s life took a new turn. In 2013, he established his first Indian restaurant, “Redfort,” with a vision to promote Indian culture, including Bollywood dance, yoga, handicrafts, and Indian attire. Gradually, he upgraded “Redfort” to “Amber Palace” by 2015 and expanded with four more restaurants in Beijing and Xi’an, showcasing the beauty of Indian culture and cementing his status as a successful businessman.
