Arrests Made in Mumbai Porn Streaming Operation
Notably, only the actors were arrested during the operation, as the police continue their search for the app’s owners and operators. The app was known to notify users about its streaming schedule via direct messages on Instagram. To access the content, users had to purchase coins through the app. The services included audio and video calls provided by the actresses, each of whom had an app profile.
In addition to the coin purchases, users were required to pay a registration fee of Rs 7500. They also had to make advance payments to access streaming content and for separate call services. All payments were made digitally through coins. Once users had app access, they could browse the profiles of the women, who often posted promotional videos for user engagement. However, the app has since been removed from both Google Play Store and Apple Store.
